The art exhibit Home Land Security was brought to a suite of former military structures in the Presidio overlooking the San Francisco Bay. FOR-SITE Foundation presented this art exhibition, bringing together works by contemporary artists and collectives from around the globe to reflect on the human dimensions and increasing complexity of national security. Like previous projects installed by FOR-SITE, Home Land Security invites viewers into decommissioned batteries, an administrative building, and a chapel — some open to the public for the first time.
Brown Pelican WiFi was chosen to provide a customized, secure and dedicated WiFi network for this art exhibition. Access points were placed throughout this space to allow WiFi connection for visitors share photos and videos of this unique exhibition.
