The 2017 GE Minds + Machines held at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, gave attendees opportunities to interact with hands-on demos, engage in keynotes given by industrial leaders, and provided numerous networking opportunities. During the event, Russell Stokes the President and CEO of GE Power presented the evolving path of the electron and future plans to collaborate with the New York Power Authority to create digital utility. The exhibit floor consisted of high end GE industrial products, including jet engines, power plant control demos, and other experiences requiring dedicated, secure network connectivity.
Brown Pelican WiFi provided a secure, dedicated and fully managed temporary wifi network for this event. Access Points were deployed throughout Moscone West for the 4,000 person tech conference, including placing them under seats for the keynotes for maximum wifi coverage during GE’s important announcements.
