I Annotate 2018 was a two-day event held at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture where attendees had the opportunity to learn from speakers about how various research and annotation tools are advancing industries who rely heavily on that technology. During the event, there were panels, Flash Talks, presentations, and demonstrations from well-known industry leaders. The event closed out with Hack Day which had about 50 attendees who brought annotation projects to be reviewed and took a deep dive into the topic.
Brown Pelican WiFi provided a Custom Temporary WiFi network for the event providing a fully managed and secure network for registration, presentations, demos and Hack Day. The event took place in several different rooms throughout Fort Mason Center – all of which experienced rock solid wifi connections for the entire event.
