In honor of Instagram’s newest bullying feature that filters out harmful and hurtful comments, Instagram held its own Kindness Prom in Venice, California. Teen influencers like Daniella Perkins of Nickelodeon, YouTube stars Alan and Alex Stokes, singer and actress Annie LeBlanc and more gathered in support of anti-bullying. In-N-Out Burgers were served and attendees enjoyed photo opportunities with an anti-bullying balloon arch and a photo backdrop wall with quotes about kindness. As a grand finale, prom-goers were also surprised by a performance by Charlie Puth.
Brown Pelican WiFi was brought in to provide a fully managed and secure wifi network to the event. Production staff, press, and attendees had access to the network to promote and share the event on Instagram and other social networks.
