A full managed, dedicated and secured WiFi network was installed by Brown Pelican WiFi for the Sound Summit 2015, allowing attendees and volunteers to stay connected during this unique event. Connectivity was sustained at this event which was held at the historic Mountain Theater, a 4000-seat stone amphitheater set high atop the mountain with stunning views of San Francisco Bay.
Sound Summit is a day-long concert with aim of raising funding for and awareness of the needs of Mount Tamalpais State Park. As its name implies, Sound Summit is an intentional double-entendre – at once a musical gathering and an image of a strong and whole peak. In short, one exists to help sustain the other. Brown Pelican WiFi was honored to be a sponsor and provide WiFi for merchants and production.
