During DockerCon San Francisco and DockerCon Barcelona, Brown Pelican WiFi aggregated a number of livestreams at various breakouts and during the general session. We brought all of the feeds through our network and router on a dedicated VLAN for monitoring.
DockerCon San Francisco, organized by Docker, Inc. was showcased at Moscone Convention Center, the largest convention center in San Francisco. The conference featured a vast array of activities for attendees which included keynote sessions, the Ecosystem Expo Hall which featured lightning talks and cool hacks, plus over 120 sessions. In addition, the event also offered Hands-on Labs as well as the Hallway Track where attendees got the chance to discover topics of interest with fellow peers as they discussed knowledge they had to offer and wanted to receive. Guests were treated to breakfast, lunch, an after-party, and even had the option of on-site child care during the event this year.
Brown Pelican WiFi used a Custom Temporary wifi network using point-to-point technology to provide a fully managed, secure wifi connection to backstage production, exhibitors on the show floor, and attendees. Since DockerCon is a very technical environment, it required a consistent connection with no downtime.
