The Music City Solar Eclipse Festival in Nashville, Tennessee at the Adventure Science Center was held in honor of Nashville’s falling under full totality during the solar eclipse on August 21st, 2017. The festival gave attendees two days of fun activities that featured guest speakers, live music, food trucks, and a viewing party to observe the solar eclipse. Some of the speakers included Bernard Foing, the Chief Scientist for the European Space Agency, as well as NASA astrophysicist, Dr. Alina Rhodes.
Brown Pelican WiFi provided a fully managed indoor and outdoor WiFi network at this event to support a livestream of the solar eclipse. Staff and VIPs were able to access the network to stay connected throughout the event that covered the grounds of the Adventure Science Center.
