The Rakuten Optimism conference chose the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco for its inaugural event on September 7th. Rakuten Optimism 2018 was a day-long conference focused on generating conversations about the marketing industry and building connections amongst attendees. Throughout the day, attendees were treated to various keynotes including one from Rakuten founder Hiroshi Mikitani, and to break out sessions ranging from conversations about the Spartan Race organization to the future of influencer marketing. Rakuten Optimism celebrated the end of the conference with a cocktail reception and a concert from Shakira for guests to enjoy.
