Brown Pelican WiFi completed WiFi installation on Alcatraz for the first time, to support the exhibit @Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz.
Visitors on Alcatraz who came to experience this incredible exhibition were be able to share what they saw live, in real-time from the island, on social media platforms, blogs, text and photo messages. Brown Pelican WiFi was privileged to be part of such an important exhibition. This is the first time that internet connectivity was available to the public from this historic landmark. And since the exhibit ended, Brown Pelican WiFi has installed permanent WiFi on Alcatraz for all visitors to enjoy, and to be used for other special events at the location in the future.
