Sanctuary Exhibit by FOR-SITE

The FOR-SITE Foundation promotes creativity and understanding through art and often uses their exhibitions to focus on engaging the audience with the work to create deeper meanings. From October 7th, 2017 to March 11th, 2018, FOR-SITE will be presenting Sanctuary. Sanctuary is an exhibit, held at the Fort Mason Center Chapel in San Francisco, that embraces the human need of a sanctuary. Thirty-six artists from around the world have designed contemporary rugs – woven in Pakistan using traditional techniques – that reflect what personal sanctuary means. Similar to other exhibits by FOR-SITE, audiences are encouraged to sit and interact with the rugs.

Brown Pelican WiFi was selected to install a temporary, secure WiFi network at the Fort Mason Chapel so guests visiting Sanctuary could share their experience across social networks and with their friends and family. The WiFi network will remain in place through the end of the installment.
